In this introductory course we deal with the basics and the development of osteopathy to craniosacral therapy, up to the specific cranio-fascial method. We combine theoretical knowledge with practical skills, covering the following topics:
Historical overview: We trace the path from osteopathy via cranial osteopathy and craniosacral therapy to the cranio-fascial course.
Assessment and follow-up: We learn about the craniosacral rhythm and its importance for our body.
Unwinding technique: We deal with the body's transverse fascial structures and learn to relax them efficiently.
Assessment and treatment of the spinal dura: An ingenious technique to efficiently treat unclear FOI chains or recurrences.
Balancing techniques: We learn various techniques to balance the craniosacral system and/or release minor restrictions (Stillpoint, CV4, dural rocking).
Further joint techniques: Practical exercises on stacking, unwinding and separation techniques.
Respectful treatment: An important aim of the course is to sensitize participants to respectful treatment of patients.
Contraindications: Participants learn which conditions craniosacral therapy should not be used for.
Integration into practice: It is shown how the learned craniosacral techniques can be integrated into functional orthony.
Course content Cranio-Fascial course part 2
In the second part of the course, we build on the first part and expand participants' knowledge and skills to provide full-body treatment from head to toe. Participants delve deeper into the world of craniosacral therapy, sharpen their sensitivity and perfect their treatment methods. We also devote intensive attention to the examination and treatment of the skull and the intracranial membrane system, paying particular attention to the integration of these techniques into Functional Orthonomy Integration (FOI):
Deepening perception and treatment techniques: The participants intensively practice feeling and assessing the craniosacral rhythm and implementing appropriate solution techniques.
V-spread technique: A simple but effective method that allows us to effectively reduce tension on the sutures and fascia.
Direct and Indirect Methods: These approaches offer us flexibility in dealing with different tension patterns, allowing us to either act on a tension directly or encourage the body to balance itself.
Pumping Technique: A dynamic method that promotes movement in the sutures and meninges to support natural mobility and function.
Treatment of the skull: Knowledge about skull bones, sutures (seams between the skull bones) and the jaw joint are imparted and targeted diagnosis and treatment are practiced.
Intracranial membrane system: Participants learn about the intracranial membrane system, including diagnosis and treatment.
Integration into practice: It is shown how the learned craniosacral techniques can be integrated into functional orthony.
