Theoretical content:

  • Theoretical foundations of the terms blockage and somatic dysfunction.
  • Neurophysiological aspects of a somatic dysfunction.
  • Anamnesis and differential diagnosis in manipulative therapy.
  • Indications and contraindications of manipulative therapy.
  • Indications and contraindications of the different levels of the spine.
  • Biomechanical aspects of leverage techniques.
  • Biomechanics of the pelvis, the lumbar spine, the thoracic spine and ribs and the cervical spine.

 

Practical content:

  • Examination of pelvic dysfunction.
  • Manipulation of various pelvic dysfunctions (anterior / posterior).
  • Examination of the lumbar spine / manipulation via rotation.
  • Examination of the thoracic spine and ribs.
  • Different manipulation techniques on different levels on the ESPE in different starting positions.
  • Examination of the cervical spine.
  • Manipulation techniques of the cervical spine while sitting and lying down.
